Craftiness and snow!!

The girl loves the snow. Well, she loves to eat it. :) This was our first major snow this year. We got nearly 6 inches!

Solstice Wishlist

Jimi has been wondering what to get me for Winter Solstice this year. Here are a few of my favorite things...

A new iron would be lovely for my sewing room! Mine likes to turn off whenever it wants now. And it spits. It's pretty temperamental.



I love Red Vines. Anyone close to me knows that. :) The fresher the better! I love the really soft australian red licorice too.





And I really do love pretty underwear. I think it's hot to wear sexy underwear under a plain jane outfit.




I have always been drawn to Abstract Expressionism. Now I don't expect to own one of these paintings, but Jimi can paint. So I am asking him to paint us something like one of these. I can't wait to see it!







And I forgot to add...some sweet mother of pearl earrings from Nomad Piercing in Portland. They are so pretty and of course we would only buy from Blake. I've got to support my peeps! They are a little big for my tiny ears, but Blake assured me he could get them in. ;)

Potential triggers, don't read if you are easily triggered...

So, I was just cruising around Facebook and was checking out someone's pics from a high school dance. And bam. There is a picture of someone who once pinned me down and had sex with me. Well, it wasn't exactly sex with me. At me?? To me?? I haven't seen that face in many, many years. And I had just assumed that I would never have to see that face again. This is what sucks about sites like Facebook.

Now, you might be thinking is kind of a gritty thing to write about here. But this isn't Disneyland, people. It's my blog. And I had to write something about it.

Hopefully, I will be able to just skip past all of those memories tonight and not dwell too much. It was a long time ago. I publicly told most of my friends back then. I don't feel any guilt about what happened. I wish I had been more assertive back then and could have told him to go fuck himself. Maybe that is why I am so assertive today. I refuse to be taken advantage of.

I need some blog help

I have a header that was designed for my business blog at eleanorbean.com. But since I am not hosting through blogger, I can't easily change up my design over there. Can someone please help me with the design of my business blog? It is basically the same header as my Hyena cart store, maybe a little smaller. I don't want something expensive, just something that flows with my logo. Please, someone???? My hosting person knows more about Wordpress, but I am already comfortable with blogger and don't want to change.
