Pure Imagination
I heard this song today and it made me smile. And it gave me hope. Kid's music can be so great because it speaks to the hearts of children. They still believe in dreams and wishes. Enjoy!
Come with me
And you'll be
In a world of
Pure imagination
Take a look
And you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin
With a spin
Traveling in
The world of my creation
What we'll see
Will defy
Explanation
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world?
There's nothing
To it
There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly wish to be
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world?
There's nothing
To it
There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly
Wish to be
Come with me
And you'll be
In a world of
Pure imagination
Take a look
And you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin
With a spin
Traveling in
The world of my creation
What we'll see
Will defy

Wizard of Oz fun with the Perlingieri's
When I saw that they were doing a production of Wizard of Oz downtown, I knew I had to bring Eleanor. Then, I thought of Isadore and Mayan and their love of all things Oz. They both had birthdays around the time of the play, so I asked Leah if they would like to come see the show with us. We had such a great time. Although I wish we would have had some boosters for Isadore and Eleanor. The shorties were a little too short. :) Eleanor danced in my lap, Isadore giggled with glee, and Mayan watched in amazement. The story is so classic, that young and old could giggle along together. Even little George got to watch as all the munchkins danced around the stage. Strangely enough, we didn't see another little child dressed in character. Not one other pair of sparkly shoes were seen.

Posing before Leah and the kids arrived.
After our lunch the girls spied some, okay many rubber duckies taking a swim.
Look at all of those braids. :)
There's no place like home....
